We offer three options for hot dog cooking and don’t forget to check out our full line of hot dog packaging, accessories, and signage!
Hot dog steamers are the most popular way to cook hot dogs because they are economical, easy to clean and easy to operate. Steamers offer all-in-one design which saves space by combining hot dogs and buns in one area. Cooking time is about 20-30 minutes. Steamers keep hot dogs and buns fresh for the longest amount of time.
Hot dog broiler rotisseries offer great front counter merchandising. The rotating rack attracts customer traffic and have built-in bun warmers. Cooking time is about 15-20 minutes. All Gold Medal rotisseries have stainless steel frames, bun warmer, drip tray and adjustable heat control. Rotisseries do require the most cleanup time.
Roller grills are wonderful for all environments and allow customers to be served from either side. Combination grills are available, combining hot dog rollers and bun drawer. Sneeze guards are sold separately for the self-serve locations. Cooking time is approximately 10-15 minutes. Most Gold Medal roller grills are stainless steel, two separate on/off switches to operate front and rear rollers and two separate heat controls.
